Gabriella Collier

Gabriella Collier is well known for her landscape and beachscape paintings. She has been a professional artist for over 20 years and is a graduate from the Art Fundamentals and illustration programs at Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning.

Her work is location inspired and transformed into atmospheric and etherial paintings. She uses acrylic mixed with different mediums, and she experiments with abstract methods to create unique pieces.

Artist Statement ” I am inspired by the natural settings visited in my travels. My images are developed and constructed by my willingness to explore the creative process while painting. I begin with gestural strokes and drawings, pours and drippings, layered over the surface with glazes, lines and texture to eventually form a finished piece with a variety of surfaces….”
