Evidences of wear. Vestiges of life. A discovery of lost knowledge.

Kevin Ghiglione is inspired by the presence of mankind through time showing evidences of wear, vestiges of architecture, and hints of lost communication. Some of his works suggest timing in a visualization of the cadence of music. His recent work includes references to contemporary science and invention being challenged by opinions and beliefs. Viewing the pieces in person, the artwork shows a discovery of hidden and excavated elements that can leave the viewer questioning what information has been lost. His surfaces exhibit patina of use and wear creating a passive feeling of a well loved object.
